 The MTECH D15RP is the ideal notebook for mobile professionals wanting power, performance and security all in a rugged design. As with all MTECHs, the D15RP is built tough to survive under real world conditions. The D15RP is designed with a magnesium alloy case to protect the system’s vital components from damage due to drop and shock. The D15RP anti-shock mounting design protects the device’s LCD and hard drive from damage and data loss. The MTECH D15RP notebook’s spill resistant design protects the sensitive interior components from accidental spills. The unit also includes input/output port rubber caps to provide for dust resistance. The D15RP is powered by the Intel Montevina technology providing for performance boost and power management. The D15RP features a 15.4” WXGA display with graphic resolution up to 1280x800 (WXGA+ 1400x900 optional). The on-screen graphics is driven by the Intel GM45 Integrated Graphics which supports shared system memory up to 780MB. Standard features in the D15RP include a smart card reader, fingerprint scanner and TPM 1.2 technology that help secure important data. The D15RP also includes a LED light for the keyboard, four USB 2.0 ports, a HDMI port, and a RS232 serial port. Optional features include a resistive-type touch screen, built-in webcam, GPS and 3G Antenna.
