This guide walks you through safe steps you can take to remove unwanted software, clean up system problems, and restore normal operation. These steps often help when a computer starts acting strange after installing a program. While we cannot guarantee results, these are the safest and most effective actions you can take before considering a full system reset.
We are a laptop manufacturer and do not sell or support third-party software. However, we know how stressful software problems can be, and we never want our customers to feel abandoned. We offer this guide simply to help you get back on track, not because we are responsible for the software that caused the issue.
Start with a full system scan using Windows Defender. This checks for common malware, unwanted programs, and suspicious files.
This scan runs before Windows loads, which helps detect hidden malware, keyloggers, and driver-level threats that normal scans may miss.
Go to Settings > Apps and remove any programs you do not recognize, do not use, or installed right before the problem started.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Select the Startup tab and disable anything unfamiliar or unnecessary.
Open Device Manager and look for yellow warning icons. Pay special attention to keyboard, mouse, and display drivers. If a driver looks damaged or incorrect, uninstall it and restart the computer to let Windows reinstall the correct version.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
sfc /scannow
This repairs damaged or missing system files.
In the same Command Prompt window, run:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
This fixes deeper system issues that SFC cannot repair alone.
After completing the above steps, restart your computer and test the keyboard, mouse, browser, and overall performance.
If your keyboard, mouse, or system stability is still affected after these steps, it is time to contact us. We can check drivers, services, and system logs to repair the damage safely. While we cannot guarantee results for third-party software issues, we will always do our best to help you get your system working again.
Following these steps can often resolve software-related issues without needing a full system reset. If you need help, we are here to support you as best we can.
