OneDrive constantly monitors your files and uploads changes in real time. This can cause:

• High disk usage
• CPU spikes
• Network congestion
• Dragon lag or delayed dictation
• Speechmatics latency
• Slow CAT responsiveness

Optimizing OneDrive prevents these issues.

2. Pause OneDrive During Realtime Work

Before starting a deposition or realtime session:

• Click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar
• Select Pause syncing
• Choose 2 hours, 8 hours, or 24 hours

3. Exclude Large Audio Folders from Syncing
